21 May, 2014

"Theater demarche" open-air festival will be held on June 6-7 in the garden of "Hermitage", reports ITAR-TASS.

The idea of the festival organization belongs to the theater and film actress, the director of Roman Viktyuk theater Irina Apeksimova.

"In the world the events of the kind enjoy enormous success. My inspiration for "Theatre demarche" creation was taken from the street performances at Piazza San Marco in Venice, the oldest theater festival in Avignon, the big festival in Edinburgh, in which I myself once took part wuth the performance of "Salem witches". Moscow lacks the events of the kind", - says she.

Ten Moscow theaters will take part in the show staging 12-hour long marathon.

Such groups as, for example, Meyerhold Theater Center, Mayakovsky Theatre, "Moscow Ballet", Moscow Puppet Theatre will present their best performances. The show with free admittance will be started in the evening on June 6 by poetry citings dedicated to the birthday of Alexander Pushkin.

Irina Apeksimova and her friends - actors will not only cite the poems of the poet, but also conduct master classes of elocution. When the darkness will fall, on a big screen of the park the presentation of "Eugene Onegin" opera performed by international stars Anna Netrebko and Mariusz Kvechenya will be shown.
